KIDS PLACE

Kids Place has reopened its doors in The Kids Place Building!

This is very exciting, as we got to clean out a lot of old and broken toys and replace them with new and educational toys!

Since September we have had 37 different children attend Kids Place.  Kids Place has offered sport, arts and craft programs.  We have had ages 4 months to 12 years attend!

We are looking forward to a busy summer, offering a new program called Island Trails! This program is unique in that we will be exploring the island every week.  We will spend time in the woods, on the beach and creating art with nature.  We will have a music week where we will be creating large instruments in the trees with blocks, pots, pans and maybe even hub caps.

The Kids Place is a valuable resource to our community, as you can see by the large number of children who have participated since September.  

The Kids Place is doing the Lobster roll fundraiser as usual this fourth of July.  To reserve tickets please e mail: kidsplace@chebeague.net  or call 846-8712.  Tickets are $15 per lobster roll, and they come with a bag of chips!
